Dropbox Alternative

Hi all,

I'm wondering what everyone thinks is the best dropbox alternative (app alternative). I've seen a lot of unofficial ones around but to be perfectly honest I'm not 100% on letting my login details and files and what not go through a third party. Now before anyone suggests I try skydrive, I have tried it, and when using it, it corrupted a university document I had spent an entire day on. To me, that was unacceptable, and from the past three years of using dropbox that had never happened to me, so vowed not to use skydrive after that incident...

Maybe I should just wait for an official one to come out

Skydrive corrupted your document ... weird, of course as usual I've never had this issue and I hope I dont have it in the future, pretty important stuff is lying around there.

Box.com has good app, BoxFiles for dropbox is decent, skydrive works amazingly well for me, boxshot is another option

Third party applications has no access to your login and password. As long as they use OAuth authentication, you should not worry

3rd party, yes, but it doesn't use your logins. It's a passthrough to DB official.
