Ear Speaker Broken

So a month or so ago the speaker on my 925 became harder to hear, would crackle and distort. Yesterday I answered a call and couldn't hear anything. I put it on speaker mode and its fine. I tried again in a quieter environment and was able to BARELY hear noise, like from an ant it sounded. So I will be sending off my 925 to be repaired by Nokia under warranty.

Has anybody ever had this issue? Or sent in their phone for warranty? How did it go?

Yes ive had the same with lumia 820 and nokia 700 it was just a bad earpiece speaker and simply replacing it put it back to normal...
Unfortunatly mine were out of warranty so i purchased the spare earpieces from ebay and fitted myself.
