Edge Browser & McAfee Mobile Protect.

I recently bought a Nokia 5 running Android, and have McAfee Mobile running on it, I was however wondering if the Web Security feature works on the Edge browser app? I have read the Q&A's and it states on Android 6 and above it works on "chromium browsers" but there isn't the usual pop up from McAfee saying I'm protected when using edge.

Get rid of McAfee, nothing but bloatweare and will slow down your phone.
