edge not launching when attention required to connect to wifi

[Windows Central Question]

When I'm in a hotel or some other places, (airport etc) I connect to the wifi, then on android, the browser starts automatically and asks me to accept the EULA or whatever.
On my lumia 735 W10, I can see like a flashing of edge, then nothing, and when I manually open edge, it doesn't connect to the site (hotel or airport or whatever) and I cannot connect at all (well, connected, but no internet) that's very frustrating.

perform a soft reset by holding together volume down+power key until phone reboots. secondly clear cache from edge settings . This should fix this issue.
