Edit files on sd card

Hi,

I own a Nokia Lumia 520, and have a question about editing my files via my pc.

Right now I can only copy and delete to my sd card. I was wondering if it is possible to edit file info (more specifically music - chance covers etc, ...) on the device.
Is this possible, and if yes, where do I turn it on (or the security off)?
