I think a stationary bike is worse than an eliptical. I usually get discomfort on my tailbone when using it for more than 20 mins. With the elliptical, both my feet actually start to go numb (I get that prickly feeling in them) after 30 mins. I figured it was do to the stationary position my legs are in. I'm not actually picking up my feet. I since moved back to the treadmill, when it's available (we have a small apartment gym).
