Email client issue

WP 8.1 has a new feature: automatically download attachments and internet images. I use Google apps business, so my mail domain is on Google. I enabled this feature, but it still not working. I must download attachments and images in mail messages manually, and sometimes a under 100 kb attachment it takes forever to download.
