Email,Facebook,twitter notification

Does anyone know why my twitter and Facebook apps don't gie me some type of notification? That's nothing on the tiles or even my emails tile . nothing shows up to notify me that I got something.

You have to set both to indicate tweets or comments on the Live Tile, as well as provide toast notifications. You can find those options in "settings." By default, they're disabled (to allow the user to set preferences).
