Email from microsoft

I have had my windows phone 8 device for a year now. Yesterday i updated to nokia lumia black, then today i received an email from microsoft saying welcome to use windows phone: the same email i had year a go. Does this mean somebody is using my account on other device or does everybody who update their phone get this message? Thank you for all answers

If you try to login to windowsphone.com you should be able to see the device connected to your account..

My guess is an error at ms, however I just upgraded and didn't get the email...

Did you hard reset your phone? I got that mail when I re-added my Microsoft account.

No i didnt do hard reset, only thing has been the black update. Must be then a mistake from ms?
