email notifications

So I might be crazy, but I swear while I was setting up email notifications on my phone there was an option to repeat the alert sound every x minutes until the notification was acknowledged. Now I can't find that setting.

Maybe I've missed it but when I get new email the live tile changes but I don't get any sorta notification at the top or w/e. No sound is made either or anything, wonder what I'm missing.
