Equalizer while using bluetooth?

When paired with my bluetooth speaker I lose the ability to use my EQ or presets. Will the CU update fix this? ( Fluance fi30 speaker, amazon, highly recommended)

The Equalizer is handled by firmware so the chance of it changing is virtually nil.

(judging by how a Lumia firmware update to my 920? let the EQ adjust speaker output and not just through headphones at the time.)

That's too bad. I was hoping to make one of my spare Lumia's a streaming device (I overshopped the fire sales). Lack of EQ and apps kinda wet blankets that idea.
