Error 80860006

Yesterday, I updated my phone with Windows 8.1 (no developer mode or anything). But when I try to update some apps, I am repeated asked for my password at the Store but whatever I do, the screen for password pops up ? Also a error 80860006 follows? Can anybody tell me whats going on?How to fix this?

Hello there! I just want to say that i had the same problem after upgrading to WP 8.1 . I was trying to update my apps, getting that error code 80860006, but i kept triyng and somehow now it works. I didn't changed anything Good luck with yours!

So yeah, i have this _EXACT_ same problem. Cant update apps because it requires a sign in. So i have only once made an account to live (i mean i have xbox but i wanted other account for my phone in case it got stolen) and it was when i bought the phone (lumia 920). I totally forgot my password but i changed it at the suggested website. I still cant login, please someone figure this out. The app updates keep piling up and its irritating as hell

Hi! Did you ever find a solution? I've been to every Microsoft customer service, and can't login to get updates for the same reason.

I can't update WhatsApp. Every time I try it writes the error 80860006. Now what to do? I have no account on live.com . Pls tell how to update my pending list and open my WhatsApp.
