everytime itry to download or update any app it starts and then stops and gives me that error please help lumia 640

check your date and time settings
Also check that you can access internet and that your email account is syncing okay

have you considered upgrading to windows 10 mobile? download upgrade advisor app and use it to get windows 10

Oh god I am having the same problem... Frequent errors in store... I don't understand why they give errors with no meaning...

I remembered after posting - I believe there's a temporary problem with the store - I suggest waiting for a day and trying again. Others have reported similar issues

The clowns at MS never fixed this problem. Happening with my 640 and 820 running 8.1.

It's a problem with the MS Store over the past 48 hours. I managed to get around this issue by using a VPN set to the UK.
