Error: Update downloaded but can't be opened: Error code 80188309

Hi Folks

Just tried installing Windows 8.1 on my wife's Huawei W1. She has about 1GB free on her phone. But after downloading one of the updates it came up with the above error message. Tried rebooting phone but that didn't work. She can still use the phone for everything but the full install hasn't completed. Any ideas on how to fix this? If there isn't, I suppose she could just wait until Huawei officially releases it.

As far as i know, it means that the update can't be applied to your phone due to missing firmware. I do hope somebody helps you find a workaround to it.
