Hi guys. I'm looking to make a jump from my Note 4 to a 1520.

I'm looking at buying a refurbished one but there are two I can choose from... An EU 32gb version (?200) and a 16gb US version (?130).

The way I understand it is that the US version won't have the appropriate bands for me to receive 4G in the UK, which is fine as I don't have 4G in my home town so not a major issue. But is there anything else missing that I should know about or any other big reasons to avoid the US version?

Thanks guys.

Well, if you're unlucky when buying the US version, you may end up with an AT&T branded device which may or may not be unlocked. Besides that, the US AT&T variant doesn't support Qi wireless charging. You still can add wireless charging with a case but it would be PMA, not Qi. 3g band #2 is not supported either.

Most importantly: You probably won't be able to go to a European Nokia repair center in case you need to get something fixed if you have the US variant.

So are there US versions that support QI? Or was every 1520 an at&t version?
As far as I know, the AT&T variant was the only 1520 that came in a 16GB version. That's why I strongly believe the US version offered to you is the AT&T variant. If I were you, I would opt for the European model.
