Every Windows 10 Mobile breaks storage for apps using SD

Every time there is an Windows 10 Mobile update, it confuses apps that use the SD card as storage. Examples? Plex and Groover. If they both are using the SD card to store their media, neither can find those locations after an OS update. The only fix is to manually delete those media files to get the storage space back and then to redirect the apps to start saving to SD card again. Will this ever get fixed?
