experiencing whatapp issue

my whatsapp was functioning properly after upgrading to windows phone 8.1 ,but today it started showing delayed notifications.(or no notifications at all).Did anyone else experience this? pls comment

Yes Whatsapp is broken on 8.1

Same problem. It delayed by an hour or two in some cases. Quite annoying. Don't know what causes it though.
