Facebook app crashing

Facebook app crashes as soon as it loads on my laptop which has been upgraded to windows 10. Any help?

You could uninstall it and reinstall to see if that fixes the issue.

Thread bump... This issue seems to have resurfaced after a recent Windows update. Not sure which one or why, but there's a lot of people seeing it

It's pretty unacceptable to not have a usable FB app.

This indeed is a big issue. MS does not seem to have any solution for this. I started getting this problem post 25-Nov or so after some updates on my Surface 3. The FB app is just not opening up and keeps on crashing. There are many active threads on this on MS forums, but none seems to have a solution. This is indeed disappointing that an app as important as FB is not working on Windows 10 for desktop and tablets. Also, Windows Central does not even seem to be aware of this issue. I wonder how?

it has started working again for me the past 2 days. DOnt know exactly what changed.

It's still an issue with W8.1. It keeps crashing on start.

I've uninstalled the app, made sure there isn't any trace of it left on my system (files or registry), re-installed, and the same thing.

After the latest cumulative update, the crashing is now gone (at least for me)

It has stop crashing for me as well. Haven't crashed on me all day
