FaceBook App on 8.1?

I have Windows Phone 8.1 on my phone and I can't get the FaceBook app to work....when I click the icon, it does nothing. I have deleted and re-installed, still does nothing when i click the icon....is this a common problem?

Did you try restarting your phone/soft reset? Are you using Facebook or Facebook Beta? Any other apps crashing upon launch or just Facebook? If all else fails, you may need to do a hard reset.

Its the one that says "Microsoft Corporation" when you view it on the store, first one you see when you type "FaceBook" in the list.....I did a hard reset on my phone yesterday so not much has been done with it since then.

Have you tried the beta? The fb app works fine for me (625)

I did try the beta...but it didn't work either...but I did finally get it working...I just reinstalled it for like the 5th or 6th time....

EDIT: Why does it not say "posted via Windows Phone" when I post on FB?

Probably just like the sent via Facebook for iPhone and Android thing
