Facebook app updated

Received an update for Facebook app (8.1.5.9) on WP 8.1 DP.

Did anybody notice any changes..?

For now, nothing. Just waiting for the day we get the features of the OFFICIAL app on other platforms, including Windows 8.1.

Maybe MS could work with Facebook to bring the features needed to the app. I don't really know why MS is so slow with deal breakers apps. If you gonna do it, do it right.

I honestly think the app isn't really that bad. It's way smoother than the FB on WP7. I just don't get it why they still haven't implemented uploading pictures in comments yet. Is it really this hard?

Just wondering do you guys notice that other apps barely show the loading screen anymore, this was just after the update of the Facebook App.

im using a lumia 920, and I seriously think that this update made my entire device very fast.

It now uses the Photo picker of WP 8.1.
So now it doesn't take time to initiate that and allows you to pick from 1) any folder 2) any other local place / SD card etc 3) OneDrive

Are you on 8.1? If so, move it back to the phone. That stopped the crashing for me...

App constantly crashes for my wife's 8X (not on 8.1) after the last update. My Icon, which is using 8.0 beta states "could not upload post at this time."

Are you on 8.1? If so, move it back to the phone. That stopped the crashing for me...

Thanks for the suggestion but I have 920 and FB is already on the internal memory.
