Facebook apps beta vs non-beta?

Hi, I recently switched to Lumia 730. Windows 10 Anniversary update is running quite stable. But Facebook and Messenger apps are very slow and crash after 10-15 seconds of usage. So I switched to the beta versions, and it's the same story. Also, the beta versions didn't get any updates since I installed them, it's like a month. Are they even in a development? Which apps to use, beta or non-beta?

No other apps crash, only the Facebook app. Internet connection is quite stable.

Thank you very much for saving the apps. Installed the Facebook app and it indeed is thousand times better than the one in the store. Though, Messenger doesn't get installed. How do I install it?
