facebook message problem

I am not getting any messages and he funny thing i that it is linked with both mine and my sisters account when our mutual friends are online only we are able to see them online on taking in browser every one is visible. also the messages that are send to my sisters account only pop up those send to my account wont pop up, I reset my phone and still this exist. I don't know what to do to fix this.

Unfortunately this is a common problem, and I don't think there is any fix for it
