What do you guys make of this video? It discusses the excessive permissions that Facebook Messenger apparently needs and what it does with them. Is it just hysteria or is there some truth to it?

I dont think Windows Phone has those capabilities yet????? like sending receiving text messages via 3rd party...but I think the whole concept is crazy but has facebook admitted to doing this...or is this just speculation?

It does. And it was considered for 8.1 before being stripped out ultimately
