Fake mobile

when i call the customer care it asks for a IMEI NO.After entering my IMEI NO it says its invalid. Is it possible that my wp is fake.

Did you buy this device used from eBay or some other private seller? It is possible that the device had been reported lost or stolen, or that the original owner had a contract and did not pay his/her bill. In either case, the device could be blacklisted. If you bought it from eBay, you might want to file a claim.
