Then it should have been called the Fall Creators' Update...

"Creators' Update" would be pronounced differently out loud. It is still grammatically correct to call it the "Creators Update." It is the update of the Creators. It does not belong to them, there is no possessiveness, hence there is no apostrophe.

Also, I agree the update isn't exciting, but it is still necessary. The small background improvements are what really matter and make an operating system mature and polished. Look at Android Oreo, for example. Google added a couple features, but made a boatload of background improvements that will improve performance, battery, and security. Those are the most important things, aren't they?

I hate to say it, but nothing. There really isn't anything about this release or its predecessor that I really care about. I would like to see some basic functionality fixed.

Little things like being able to see the photos I take with my W10M phone be available for viewing on my PC. They are completely inaccessible via OneDrive, Photos (or whatever Diversionary Marketing Name Remix they are calling it today), or any other means except on my phone. What gives, Microsoft?

Little things, like being able to add a contact and immediately be able to use said contact to send an email. Is it really that hard to sync a new contact, even to the same device?

Who knows, maybe OneDrive placeholders (or whatever they are called today) will change my mood for the better. Hard to say. What isn't hard to say, though, is that stuff across the board just plain worked a hell of a lot better 5+ years ago.

Top 3, people Hub, the swipe keyboard (great for a small tablet in a meeting (if only it had mobile phone capability too)), Files On Demand.

  • The feature I use the most, and thusly will look forward to the most is certain OneDrive Files On-Demand. However, it is interestingly enough, also the feature that is just there, doing what I need it to do, without making me aware of itself

  • Being able to just copy a link in the new share UI is certainly my most actively used feature.

  • The new touch XAML based input keyboard WITH SHAPE WRITING! is by far my second favourite feature <3

  • Then there is scrolling with the pen, which is a really nice to have for us with pens, as it simply just feels more natural in your touch/pen flow.

  • All the improvements to PDFs and eBooks in Edge - Very impressive thing :)

  • Real full screen in Edge was also a nice edition. Finally allowing for an immersive experience even when not watching a video =)

  • 4K screenshots in game mode was another nice addition.

  • One thing missing in the Danish edition is the shortcut to pop-up the emoji window. Microsoft never got around making that more than US-only for now. I think I use that really often, though for now, I have to continue to have the touch keyboard in my taskbar, whenever I want to use an emoji in my texts.

  • All the high DPI issues they fixed, which my Surface and lower resolution monitor certainly suffers from.

Cortana reminders through vision intelligence always seemed like a very impressive feature to me. A shame few others thought so, forcing Microsoft to remove it again.

Yes, really - File Explorer does not delegate the search to the online OneDrive search engine, it uses only the local Windows Search engine and indices on the PC.

So why can't they just put the original Windows 8 OneDrive where everything was working perfectly... they have the code, why?????
