I want to see the Boomers.
Of all the Vegas factions, they're the most likely to have survived and be in control regardless of the game ending.

I consider myself a Fallout fan, but only played Fallout 3 and 4 (played several hundred hours in each of them), never New Vegas, which I know is where a lot of the background lore for season 2 comes from. In any case, loved the first season and excited for the next one.

All you need to know for the show is that NEW VEGAS revolves around a tug of war between two main factions, the NEW CALIFORNIA REPUBLIC and CAESAR'S LEGION, over control of HOOVER DAM. With a variety of tribes formed from the regional survivors of the war. Inside new Vegas there are three gangs running casinos, outside the usual raider equivalents, Brotherhood and Enclave remnants, super mutants, and ferals. With a few twists. And, apropos my comment, a tribe called the Boomers, isolationist descendants of one of the area vaults that took up residence in a military base. Heavily armed with the power to swing the balance of power in the area.

The game character is not a vault dweller but a local courier who gets to choose from a variety of endings depending on how you play the game. Generally considered to feature the best *story* of the modern FALLOUT GAMES.

What most everybody wants to know is what happened after the game. What is the status quo given the many possible game endings. None of which explicitly involved the Boomers in a dominant role. Hence my thought that the best way to not choose one of the game endings as canonical is to say that whichever happened was superseded by the Boomers taking over. Besides, boomers are cool.
