Not sure what are the "favorite places" used by WiFi to automatically turn it on. Cortana's? For sure not from here maps, as they are not appearing. Anyway, I tried both and I can't see it working at all.
On top, as people probably mentioned, being able to turn on/off mobile data in quick actions would be terrific.
