Favorite video game?

Oh man, totally forgot about that... Was a pretty fun game even though it had no "story" and simple level design ;-) I've heard it will be re-done soon, with a modern game engine... Not sure if it's a good idea, though.

rott was an awesome game. The game design was so goofy. Shrooms, trampolines!

A high rez clone would be fun.

I currently own a 3DS, Wii, 360, iPod and Windows Phone. I'm big on puzzle and music/dance games right now because they are quite easy to pickup, play for an hour and move on. Also play alot of shorter games on the 3DS and 360 that i can play in one or two sittings. Don't really have time for epic games anymore. But will put time aside for a new Zelda or Mario. I also enjoy the Batman Arkham games. And playing some classic games either on the Virtual Console or Xbox Live

If I had to pick a favorite game/franchise, its either Zelda or Pok?mon. I had swore after Black and White 2 that I was retiring from "catching them all". So color me shocked when X and Y were announced, pulling me back in. Now way in missing Pokemon in 3D!!!!!

I can think of games that were more engaging, but nothing beat the moment of excitement when I first played Super Mario 64. My brain could not comprehend the level of amazing in walking around freely in a 3-D environment. Then, enter Ocarina of Time and my brain melted. The twist in Bioshock / the first time I broke 1,000,000 pts in Tony Hawk were cool moments, but nothing beats playing Super Mario 64.

Also, playing/watching/listening Kingdom Hearts I/II was great.

N64 was home to some of my breathtaking moments as a gamer as well. Mario 64 holds up still, IMO. Goldeneye is still to this day the only FPS shooter I love ( and I hate the genre). And without a doubt, Ocarina of Time was a revelation.

I have multiple consoles, so here goes:
SNES: Super Mario Kart (Rainbow Road was ****)
N64: Super Mario 64 :)
GCN: Mario Kart: Double Dash!! (This is one of the games that I think revolutionized an otherwise repetitive game.)
Wii: Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn
NDS: Pokemon Platinum (It's fun being asked for a Lv. 1 Legendary Pokemon in exchange for a Rattata...NOT!)
GBA: Pokemon LeafGreen
GBC: Pokemon Crystal
GB: Pokemon Yellow (If it isn't obvious, I'm a Pokemon fan.)
PS3: LittleBigPlanet
PC:
-Shooter Type Game: Touhou: Imperishable Night (also known as Touhou 8)
-Strategy Game: Civilization 5 (I broke my laptop playing this :/)

It's a toss up between The Adventures of LoLo for the Nes, Final Fantasy 7, and A Link to the Past.

Resident Evil 2, Metal Gear Solid 2, Final Fantasy 5 all bring back some dang good memories too though.

Super Mario Bros 3, The Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past, Batman: Arkham Series, and definitely Kingdom Hearts.

Another world by delphine software.
Half life.
Counter Strike (prefer 1.6 to source).
Trials Evolution.
