fb messenger problems with home screen

[Windows Central Question]

I accidentally hid "favorites" and "active now" sections on fb messenger home screen. Need to unhide sections. App installed on Samsung Galaxy S 6 and can't uninstall cuz it's a factory installed app. All ready tried update

go through the settings there must be some option to turn it on. If nothing works then root your device and force uninstall messenger using system app remover.
