Is it possible that after exiting fb messenger you still keeps showing online for hours.even you are nt using fb messenger that time.please help.

Have you checked to see if FB is allowed to run in the background of your phone? You can turn that off by using Battery Sense.

Have you synched your FB account to your primary MS account which you use in your phone?

what tab do you own?
What is the software version in it. Is it Windows 8?
Do you use Facebook chat through in built messaging ho or use the Facebook Messenger app?
