Field test in GDR 2?

Explain yourself a little more please kiddo

There was a feild test, where we can only select 2G or 3G or 4G mode, by dailing ##3282, After GDR 2 update it was not working...

Any other code or it was completely disabled?

lol, what he means is what he means kiddo. you can access it by typing ##3282 at Phone and press call. you can then enter the settings and select network type to 2g/3g/4g only unlike the normal settings where you choose highest connection. its very useful when you wanna force 4g/3g speed. hope they dont disable this in gdr2.

I never knew this exist, I tried on my L720 and I found it, can someone elaborate what it does and how do I use it? :D I feel like a noob always good to learn new things

Try entering ##3282# instead of ##3282 (extra #)

Americans dont get this for some reason

Well you can say AT&T Lumia 920 users don't get this :winktongue:

I have it enabled on my Rogers 920 though...

if you select 3g it will try to use 3g unless there is no 3g then it will switch to 2g..
If you force it and there is no 3g you won't have an connection?

In my house, I get about 3 bars of 3G signal, Still it change to 2G mode.

I want to keep 3G only, Like andriod or other phone do.
