This is actually really great. I'm wondering if we can also download Steam Deck optimized versions of games on other Gaming PCs. I think there's a lot of benefit to anyone who's fine with saving storage and running a lower end version of a game. I'd particularly love it on other handhelds. If not though, it'd hardly be the most incidious method of incentivizing purchasing proprietary hardware. Steam is really interesting right now because this actually such a console move. Tools to optimize games for specifically lower end hardware amd save on storage space and what not. Steam has this and yet also still is the most robust PC game storefront.
