Finally Got The Spare Battery For My Lumia 950XL!!!

Sorry but i sold the Lumia 950XL...i am afraid i cant be of any help here....sorry

Hi Abhinav, I am getting an offer for a second hand 950 XL (with warranty) for 250 $ and a 1520 (no warranty - 1 yr old - looks well maintained) for 190 $ .

My requirement is good camera, battery life, good music/video experience, reliable performance while browsing. Please let me know ur views about 950 XL, since u sold it so soon.

Definitely the 950xl.you can get a new battery and it'll be like new. The 1520 is a better made phone (bless nokia), but you cant replace the battery. Which means the phone might only have 1-2yrs to go depending on usage.

Hi lumia 950xl was an awesome phone...it set the standards high for me...camera is just amazing...even my lg g5 can't beat it at many instances...battery is rock solid and i just loved it...but my love for new gadget and lack of many apps made me buy a new android phone.

Thanks Abhinav. How is the support in India for 950 XL? Is the MS Svc center helpful during visits?

Speaking out of turn... the service center (at Gurgaon, India) didn't help me as my battery warranty (6 months) expired just a few days ago. I had to find someone at MS to help me as the service center is 'obligated' to attend to issues that are under warranty but couldn't help me otherwise. Somehow, my request has been accepted and I am now waiting for replacement battery.

I think I feel cheated for 950XL; got one for my father & wife, after our 920s got old... I think MS has killed Lumia, should have gone back to iPhone or may be OnePlus.

Yeah, I was surprised to see this, after all the issues recently with cell batteries.
I'm on this thread, from way back; I still have a spare battery which I'll probably put up for sale, that I purchased right after I got my 950XL, almost a year back now, through a UK dealer.

I feel a bit cheated too, BTW, it's unfortunate the way things went. I have to admit, after using Win Phones since the inception, it was incredibly hard to move to Android, but I sure appreciate the stability. I'm even on 7.1.1, the latest beta, and it's crashed 1 time, and had maybe a couple of problems, since installed right after it became available.
Patches are a bit "thin", but stability is something I sort of got used to not having, it's kind of nice, although I still miss the Win Phone UI, and probably will for a long time...

Oops. I heard something similar from the seller on OLX yday. I was planning to use it for a max of 1 year (will buy some extension for warranty from b2x).
