Looks like finally MS done something to fix mysterious other storage in wp8.1 blue.. check below image.

I think that's not the same Other. I feel like that "folder" will be used for items you download and arent supported by the OS, example if you download a Photoshop Template or some other unknown file type.

I think ms already reserve dedicated 'downloads' folder for downloaded unsupported files..
still i hav doubt what this other actualy contain.

It might contain cache files by applications that are no longer needed by OS , so one could easily delete them , cache files include temp files from onedrive , internet browsing , etc.

"Other" is just everything that doesn't fit into any category. The problem isn't with "other", the problem is storage leaks. The only solution is to fix each bug, one by one.

Well in 8.0 the delete temporary files button doesn't seem to work for me but I've heard in 8.1 the buttons works

Umm, Other Storage was fixed in GDR2, and further improved in Update 3. It hasn't been an issue for awhile. Assuming you're past Portico, at least...

They bring SD card support for the apps so I won't care for the other storage as I care now
