Windows 10 Mobile doesn't support the Find My Phone feature yet and there is no way for customer service to ring, lock, or erase on your behalf for the preview. PLEASE, put a lock on your phones if you're going to use Windows 10 Mobile cause if you have any really private information or nudes or anything, they'll all be ripe for the picking for someone who might steal your phone. I just had this happen to me today and I've been changing passwords and trying to find solutions like crazy.

If you have auto backup for pictures, check your OneDrive out to see if he or she has taken pictures.

On the 2 versions of W10M TP I ever used, 10166 and 10512... I never get to see the Find my phone option.... And it's not presented even when I log into account.microsoft.com...

Go into Settings>update and security>Find my phone.

Then toggle Save My devices location periodically to ON then OFF again.

Now try finding your phone. It works!

You can leave it on, you have to toggle it twice to activate, yes.

It makes sense to ALWAYS use a PIN lock on your phone. You never know when someone might want to pick it up and look around.

I guess the flip to this is:

My ex dropped her phone on a hike. Someone found it and looked up her recents and called me. He returned it. Wouldn't have been possible if locked.

This is true. But the balance of probability and risk lies with people getting their phones stolen. Most thieves will simple remove the SIM, reset the phone and sell it for quick money. Intelligent thieves will look at whatever is on the phone and attempt identity theft.

If your ex had locked her phone and someone had retrieved it, then it could have been handed in to the local police station. Or you could use the "find my phone" feature to send a message to the lock screen (e.g "If you find this phone, please call xxx-xxx-xxx").

As a remedy to this I leave my email on the lockscreen so people could contact me.

There's and emergency app that allows u to put lots of important info on the lock screen just in case it loss

Lesson here is you can trust strangers. Lol. One of a million, buddy. LOCK YOUR PHONES. Otherwise make all your passwords 1234 and give it out. She got LUCKY.

It did not work for me when I was on 10. When I rolled back to 8.1 it now works fine. Just chalked it up to another bug on the Windows Mobile 10
