Firmware only or Firmware with 8.1?

I'm on DP 8.1.1. With the recent release of cyan for DP users, does any one know if doing the cyan update would take me back to 8.1? Or will it just slap on the firmware alone and still leave me on my current version?

It will leave you at 8.1.1. It is simply a firmware update to Cyan for Lumia devices.

lumia cyan consists of drivers for wp8.1
so it is reasonable to download it on dp, since you will stay at 8.1.1 and have 8.1 drivers.
