Firmware Update

Hum...wouldn't think the carrier would have anything to do with this, but maybe the devices look different to Windows update (AT&T vs Verizon). I'm not entirely sure how hardware manufacturers get updates posted through Windows Update, but maybe Nokia decided to do the AT&T and Versions (and unlocked ones) at different times?

I have the AT&T version, btw.

nope not yet for me. Also, I am only using Verizon tablet with WIFI..not their service. rumor has it that firmware will be Over the AIR...so what the heck will I do?

I'm on mobile data with my Verizon SIM. Now what? Still no updates

It would surprise me if they required you to use data to get an update. I'd say be patient... others using the Verizon variant will chime in when the update is ready.

most likely the usual windows update, just like the att 2520 for a few wks ago. According to Nokia, the update is needed to work w the kb.

So mine found the firmware update yesterday, but it failed to install. There were a lot of other updates as well.
Re run the windows update it does not show on the list, I fixed the windows update with the action center tools no luck nothing changed update vanished from the install list.
Since the fix no updates have been found not even defender updates. I am afraid that the update "engine" in broken.
If I do the fresh revind to a factory settings it could fix the issue, but have not had time for that as yet.
Bios version Nokia 2.1144.0000.02, 20.12.2013, embedded controller 3,04
Have you got any windows updates in last 20h or so?

i just updated it today, it installed fine. But it is not the firmware update. I have the verizon version.

I checked the nokia bios version, and it is the old one.

I still have the 12/9/13 firmware, can't get the tablet to "see" the update. The old firmware wont run my power keyboard, very frustrated. Any ideas?
