Fitbit Surge and Push Notifications with the Icon

Long story short I went out and bought the fitbit Surge because the Microsoft Band is still out of stock online. I've got it paired up and everything is working except for push notifications. Looking at the pdf fitbit provided (link below) it doesn't appear it is supported yet.

Anyone know when this feature is planned?
