Fixes for my Surface Pro 4 bugs: power, fan, heat, display driver, sound, on screen keyboard?

i just started having this issue today and i run chrome only. First time i noticed it, the surface ran for at least an hour while in my bag and when i took it out it was very hot due to being in the bag. Today it happened again twice, ran the battery almost dead. Second time today the fan started spinning louder than i ever heard it and screen was still in sleep mode. I only run outlook, one note, and a web based CRM program at most.

After the most recent updates i receieved, chrome is almost un-usable, 2 - 3 tabs causes massive RAM usage, and almost unobtainable resource usage, have you tried a different browser for your CRM ? Edge, FF, Opera?
