Has anyone tried this to see if it will unlock the bands needed for tmobile 4g(1700) yet?

Theoretically it *might* work. When I flashed my 920 with different Country Variant firmwares, I noticed a difference in which of the fastest speeds I could select in the dropdown (2G, 3G, 4G). One country's firmware I could only select 2G as the fastest.

So, maybe an AT&T 1520 will be flashable with a RM-938 firmware. You likely won't be able to go back to AT&T's ROM if it doesn't work. I noticed this on my AT&T 920...I couldn't flash the AT&T ROM back after trying others.

Well I was thinking of attempting it tonight but I'm not sure how the 8.1 will conflict with me trying to downgrade.

Have you done this sort of thing before? Flashing firmware or ROMs? Do your research first and see if others are successful reverting back from 8.1.

I have flashed firmware's before on my 810 but not with the 1520 the thing that concerns me is 8.1 that's on it now and reverting back

No go, couldn't get past the ffu error, spent hours trying but no luck.

Has anyone been able to get past the ffu errors in the past? Or is it even possible that the ATT can get the 1700 band
