Flashlight app with adjustable brightness?

Is there a flashlight app that allows you to adjust the brightness?

It's kinda ridiculous we have a ton of flashlight apps but there is only one AFAIK that does this.

Exactly. And a lower beam would stop your phone heating up really quickly when using the flashlight!

hardware restrictions might be the reason, or just missing APIs

I asked the programmer of Proshot and he said there are APIs to do this but most of the phones out there cannot make use of them due to hardware restrictions.
