Focus 1.4 mango force update

So i read where At&t says that it will be the end of October before 1.4 is ready to be updated to Mango. Does anyone know if i can do the "trick" that forces zune to go ahead and upgrade my phone to Mango?? I really don't want to wait another month for Mango. Super Jealous of everyone thats getting it right now.

I don't think it will work as I read somewhere awhile back that the 1.4 version uses either a different chipset or internal hardware compared to 1.3. You can try it but I'll be surprised if it works.

Wouldn't work as they haven't even sent out the update for Focus 1.4 owners. It is still in the testing stage at the moment. We will just have to be patient.

Be aware that when I did the Mango update, it was in 2 parts: 1) Mango RTM, and a 2) Samsung update. If you are successfully able to force the Mango update to 1.4, then you may not get the Samsung update. If you do get the Samsung update, then it may be specific for 1.3 hardware.
