Not sure if I should have put this in WP8 or 1020 forum buuuuut anyway, I recently got the 1020 and noticed you can't focus during video recording. Anyone know of a workaround? Just curious

You mean it won't focus or you can't manually focus ?
If you mean you can't manually focus then no, there is no ability or workaround to manually focus the video camera, only the still image camera.

So the pro cam used to not allow manual focus? Wow, never knew that

Well, I guess we just have to hope Nokia do this, I'm guessing there was something stopping them from doing it in the first place else they'd have done it

Ah I found an app, Video Camera Pro, which allows manual focus. How he's done it, I don't know. It's useful for now, just wish the UI was a bit better, and it's easier accessing the camera from the shutter button on the camera grip but that takes you to the Nokia Camera as opposed to this video recorder. At least someone has managed to do it though.
