Hello Guys,I was thinking of what's missing the Windows phone 8.1... One of the things I really wanted to have on WP 8.1 Is the font changer... Like in Android.... System font changer
It will look so cool 😎
Come on Microsoft please do it 😢
What do you think guys ? ☺

Hmm. It will be good and attractive for other though I wont be changing the font in my phone. I am a designer and myself most of the time use Segoe Font which is used by Windows in most of my designs ;).

Windows Phone is a closed off system and while it's still very customisable, you currently can't change system fonts. Sorry.

This is never gonna happen, Modern UI has an unique font (which is used all over MS device: Xbox, Windows 8 and Windows Phone).

That's one feature I hate my wife has a Samsung galaxy tab 3 and she changed the don't and I can barely read out.

IMO changing fonts is not good, the UI interface and the apps are designed with that font in mind.

Oh sir,I think you didn't get my point... If you saw what I mean in Android... The applications will work smoothly and correctly with the changed font.
Thanks for your reply :)

Of course, apps will works, but the UI is designed to work with the font, it will depends on the selected font, and some UI elements can be drawed wrong.

I only mean that IMO is not a good idea.

I actually find myself using Segoe UI all over the place in my personal projects now.

The core of the Windows Phone's design is typography. The idea of text as the main content and structure of the OS means that any change will potentially have a profound effect on the user experience. Some fonts are unreadable at small sizes while others are unnecessarily weighty and fills up too much. One way you can see this is by going into ease of access and enlarging the system texts. It's only there because it's necessary for people who cannot read small fonts. But from the moment you enable it, you'll get a totally different feel from the OS. For me, the messaging app looks like a 12 year old kid designed it with all the big fonts. For others, it may seem bland since all of font size staggering are not as noticeable anymore. UI design is part art and fonts are a small but important part of it. I say leave it be.
