Forwarding MMS videos to Email

This is probably common knowledge but I just now figured it out.

My friend sent me a video via MMS. I looked but didn't see any obvious way to save the video to my phone. As a shot in the dark I decided to forward the MMS to my email address.

Surprisingly, it worked. The MMS showed up as a regular email attachment that I could easily play on my computer. Pretty cool.
