Friend in a coma and not waking up

Rally round your friends at this point. They can support you. It will be difficult, and I'm sure I can speak for the whole mod team here when I say we understand if you need to take time out. I'll have an emergency chat with Dave about how to go about this.

Thanks for understanding, but I don't need to talk time off. I'm okay.

Speechless. Can't even comprehend loosing someone.

He's in a better place now, and whenever you need to vent or rant out, we're always here for you. :(

He was skateboarding with no helmet and fell straight on the back of his head hard.

My prayers are with you and the family...i want to personally thank you for sharing this story, because its a reminder how important helmets are, and that they really do save lives (just like seat belts.)

I'm not a religious man, but I must say death scares me more than anything else in the world, whether it is my death or somebody close to me. Truly sorry for your loss, my thoughts are with you, and the family and friends.

Life is precious and fragile which is why when doing extreme sports we must be careful and use safety equipment. RIP to your friend.

Sorry for your loss. I can't imagine losing a friend considering all the stuff we been through. You seem to be handling it well from what you say, so that's good.

Deep condolences to the family. May his family have strength in these trying times.

My condolences. Events like this are a reminder that every day and every moment is precious.
