I certainly don't wish a storm on anyone, but I sure hope it stays away from sw Louisiana. Last time I checked we were ok, but that's subject to change. Hope everyone in the path packs up and gets out.

A lot of folks to the north and west of you would love to have a little of the rain. New Orleans is like a second home to me, and Lake Charles was fun too. Hope all you folks come through with minimal 'excitement'.

Judging by what I see this morning we will be fine. I know others could use the rain, but we've had plenty here the last couple of months. If it was just rain I could live with that, though.

It was breezy yesterday and so far this evening the wind is higher. I expect some downed limbs and such, but for the most part I think we will ok.
