Front Camera Error - Email Implications

Hey Guys,

I need your opinions/help on this please.

I have had my 950XL for over a year and it has been mostly great, I love it.

Recently (3 months back) I started getting the infamous front facing camera error, the problem is my organisation requires Windows Hello to be enabled and setup on a device for it to be compliant to recieve emails. They have recently suspended my mobile device email account as it no longer complies with policy (Windows Hello).

This is a huge problem for me, I need my emails and calendar to be active.

Now, there are many reports pointing to it being a SW issue, and many people who have replaced the front facing cmaera module only for the problem to appear again a few weeks later. The problem is the parts are very expensive to get in my part of the woods (South Africa) and I dont want to be throwing money away.

Is there anyway I can rectify this?

I am currently on the latest Insider Preview Build, I have tried WDRT, soft reset, hard reset, and everything else.

Hoping somebody can assist .

If you've tried "everything else", have you tried taking your phone to a service center? Is a new phone under consideration?

I just checked in the week and the phone is under warranty, it will be going in to Microsoft next week
