Front facing camera as good as ipad mini facetime HD

The ipad mini with 1.2 mp has very good detail, colour reproduction and night performance with it's front facing camera.

My question is whether or not the dell which also has 1.2 mp does compare ?

Well, it seems Surface 2 has the best (or one of the best) FF cameras on a tablet along with the Lumia 2520.

Thanks for the answers I bought the dell venue pro 8 and sent it right back even after adjustments everything is still fricken small...
