Frustrated: Maybe I need just Xbox for media device

After fiddling for two weeks with different recievers and media players, plus a surface, plus a lumia 920, I have found that only xbox appears to work and integrate. From trying Playto, accessing skydive pictures taken from the phone, to simple streaming of a NAS video, only the xbox seems to work.

Am I missing something.

You're not alone. I have a PC hooked up to my TV but between SkyDrive, Netflix, Hulu, ESPN, Voice Commands, SmartGlass, Xbox Music, and of course video games, I'm finding little reasons to stream anything through my PC.
